Who We Are
We are professional educators who have joined to create a dynamic, interactive environment for changing the way we prepare students for the media environment of the future. We believe that much of how we educate media consumers and professionals is negative and focuses on values and techniques antithetical to a positive culture and media environment. Hence, manipulation by the media and entertainment industries.
Mediahope.com is the digital organizing force for The Center for Values & Organization in Communication & Education (VOICE), which is housed at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
We are devoted to the positive, thoughtful exploration of issues integral to educating both consumers and producers of our media-driven culture. We provide encouragement, resources and community to those who wish to share tips, approaches, and resources for promoting the traditional values and culture of our society. We welcome the participation of all academic disciplines.
