Sarah Palin vs. Dr. Death
It was like something out of Marvel Comics. Sarah palin, hero, stood up for the little people, the ones without voices, and won.
Nobody expected her . It was pure marvel comics. She strapped on her. On the other side. The polite, well mannered Ezekiel Emanuel. The man the health care. Bill,. The man who staffers …talked to, shaping ideas.
Sarah palin had nothing but right on her side.
And the mainstream media? It was like something out of the classic U.S. School of Music ad that began’
“They Laughed When I Sat Down At the Piano But When I Started to Play!” And did they laugh! Paul Begala of CNN called her “an intellectual lightweight.”
And it swasn’t just the same old suspects. Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-GA), goaded on by Washington Post columnist Ezra Klein, called her “nuts.”
But it is a whole new day. Not quite yet. There is the other media, althernative media. And that’s come to be The New York Post said, hey look, they’re smart” But they do know enough to be frightened, and angry, about what they see: a sharply left-leaning president and Congress trying to hijack a life-or-death component of their personal lives.
Walter Williams, writing for National Review, The net result can be exactly the same as if those providing that guidance were openly called “death panels.”
Here’s what they don’t understand: Sarah Palin called them death panels because that’s what they are. Not for her is the endlessing spinning of the facts that makes Washington D. C. forever a huge washing machine, forever stuck spinning words round and round. Spin is what the beltway elites call it. Sarah Palin and the rest of us call it lying.
Sarah Palin sees doctor Ezekiel Emanuel and sees a quite pleasant guy on the top. But because he’s been to Harvard doesn’t cut any ice with her. He has a fat job in Washington paid for by our taxpayers; that does not mean that he’s qualified. What have you done for us?
In the good doctor’s case, he has earned his nickname of “Dr. Death.” Or perhaps, doctor doom.
